Westminster Abbey

Hearken O my son, to the precepts of your Master, and incline the ear of your heart; willingly receive and faithfully fulfill the admonition of your loving Father, that you may return by the labor of obedience to Him from Whom you have departed through the sloth of disobedience. To you, therefore, my words are now addressed, whoever you are, that, renouncing your own will, you take up the strong and bright weapons of obedience, in order to fight for the Lord Christ, our true King. Rule, Prologue.

We are a monastic community of Catholic men who follow the Rule of St. Benedict of Nursia. The purpose and focus of our life is the praise of God, principally in what St. Benedict calls the Opus Dei, the work of God, the liturgy of the Church.
We try to live a simple community life of prayer and work.
As a monastic community we have the operation of our kitchen, farm, guesthouse, and the upkeep of our buildings and grounds. Our main apostolic work is the operation of the Seminary of Christ the King. It offers both minor (high school) and major (college and theology) seminary formation.
